Take time for some out-of-the-box thinking and connected conversation with a future focus. Explore Diversity in service planning, delivery, and workforce development. Hosted by COTA Queensland in collaboration with the Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland (Multicultural Advisory Service).
Who is it for? Age Care Providers - Commonwealth Home Support Program and Home Care Package.
Date/Time: Wednesday 22 March 2023, 9am - 2pm *Arrive from 8.30am
Location: Rydges Esplanade Resort Cairns, 209-217 Abbott Street, Cairns
Cost: There is no cost to attend
Through conversations with peers and panel members, this forum is an opportunity for participants to:
- Create a deeper understanding of what creates culturally safe, inclusive, and respectful care for diverse communities
- Connect with local community members, consumers, and other key stakeholders to inform a holistic and quality approach to working with people as they age
- Explore the narrative around what is shaping your workforce
- Identify the next steps, resources, and support available (including links with the Aged Care Quality Standards and the Specialisation Verification Framework requirements)
