DIVINE THEATRIX — Acting as Ritual

Imagine stepping onto a stage exclusively yours, where you are the director, writer, and star of your life's story.

To explore the life you feel simmering beneath the surface, to express who you truly are.

This is a stage where you learn to trust your deepest impulses and desires, unlocking parts of yourself that you never thought existed.

You'll be witnessed by an audience without analysis or applause, and given the space to simply be. There's no pressure at all to take the stage; half the people come to watch and witness.

This ritual space invites you to explore aspects of yourself that might not find expression elsewhere, whether through improvisation, monologue, poetry, a scene with a partner, dance, song, or performance art. Whatever form fits becomes the way in.

We traditionally associate the theatre with entertainment, but this isn't about giving the "best performance." Many of us have spent years performing our way through life; this is a place to set that down and come back to who you actually are.

It's about being receptive to the soul intelligence that expresses itself through your body and enacting that. We experience Acting as a Ritual for Self-Discovery and Personal Freedom.

You hold the key. This is where you turn it.

How does the night work?

We typically have space for a maximum of 10 people to share each evening. Each participant receives up to 10 minutes on stage, to split into roughly two 5-minute segments. The night will begin with the entire audience being guided through a short meditation, allowing you to become a clear, open presence for the act of bearing witness.

There's no pressure at all to take the stage. Being an audience member holds just as much value; those who hold the space are every bit as important as those who step onto it and are still active participants through their presence. To witness is to offer a mirror.

Housekeeping

Due to the structure of the night, arriving on time is vital. Treat it like a theatre play; late arrivals create disturbance. There will be a 10-minute intermission and bathroom break. This is a community event; everyone is welcome.

About Igor Kreyman

Igor is an artist and curious human drawn to truth and the need to express it. For over 13 years he has studied human behaviour through group dynamics and creative expression, noticing the subtle signals that reveal when people are genuinely connected to themselves and others, and when that connection is missing.

He explored these insights through two bodies of work: The Human Connection Movement, a social enterprise that grew to 380+ events across 20 countries and reached over 11,000 people, and Divine Theatrix, where acting becomes a ritual for self-discovery, the practice this night is born from.

Alongside this, Igor brings over a decade of experience in film, TV, and theatre. He completed a two-year program at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney and furthered his studies in Los Angeles under John Kirby, "The Actors' Guardian Angel," and the late Elizabeth Kemp of the Actors Studio in New York. His film credits include One Less God, which won Best Film at the Byron Bay Film Festival and at Dances With Films, premiering at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles.

Igor's role is simple: to witness, to listen, and to reflect what you already know in the silence of your own heart.
