Divine Touch: A Tantric Latihan & Sensory Exploration
The Experience
Step into the mystery of aliveness—where the body becomes the gateway and the senses begin to bloom. In the spirit of spring’s awakening, Divine Touch invites you into an intimate devotional space where movement, sensation, and presence awaken the wisdom within.
Weaving the spontaneous spiritual practice of Tantric Latihan with guided sensory exploration, this journey opens pathways of deep listening, trust, and connection within a heart-centered, relational field.
This container is lovingly held by Tantra Collective founder Elana Stern alongside her partner, Matthew Golben, embodying the Divine Feminine and Sacred Union. Together, they create a space that is consent-forward, trauma-informed, and grounded in care. You are always at choice—touch with others is optional throughout the entire experience.
What is Tantric Latihan?
Latihan—meaning “spiritual exercise”—is a practice of spontaneous surrender with roots in the Indonesian Subud tradition. Tantric Latihan is a blindfolded, shared moving meditation that invites a direct relationship with the mystery of life itself.
With eyes covered, we set aside external distraction and turn inward. There is no choreography, no goal, and nothing to perform. In this simple, non-technique, we release effort and allow the life force to move us—through breath, sound, subtle gesture, emotion, or stillness. Rather than doing, we are being moved. As the nervous system softens, space opens for authentic impulse, deep listening, and organic movement to arise—guided not by will, but by sensation.
From this place, we journey inward to access our bodily intuition and reconnect with the heart’s unbounded nature. We release attachment, expectation, and the need to know or direct the experience, surrendering instead to presence and connection—with self, with source, and with others in the shared field. At its core, Latihan is the practice of slowing down and listening with the whole body, moment by moment—awakening a deeper relationship to embodiment, sensuality, and the living mystery moving through us.
Evolving through Osho Neo-Tantra and carried forward by teachers such as Laurie Handlers, this practice has taken root in the West as a pathway of embodied awakening. Tantra Collective is honored to have introduced Tantric Latihan to Philadelphia in 2024—this gathering marks our sixth edition.
What is Sensory Exploration?
In the energy of Latihan, we open into a consent-forward shared sensory exploration held in the same field of presence, surrender, and inner listening.
Rather than seeking or performing, we allow the senses—touch, sound, scent, texture, and subtle energy—to guide the experience. Awareness deepens as vision softens, inviting greater attunement to self and others.
All interaction is choice-based and consent-led. You are welcome to remain in a solo experience or explore connection through clear, mutual agreement in pairs or triads. Touch and engagement are always optional.
This is a space of reverence and energetic attunement, where sensation becomes a pathway into presence, and connection unfolds naturally from within.

💖 The Tantra Collective Approach
Tantra Collective’s offerings are rooted in devotion, discernment, and reverence—honoring the spiritual nature of the body and the path of embodied awakening. We create a finely attuned ceremonial field—where presence leads, listening deepens, and movement arises as prayer. Held with exceptional care, clarity, and maturity, the container is intentionally non-performative and grounded in trauma-informed somatic safety, held through the wisdom of the Divine Feminine. Here, the body is trusted as a direct pathway to remembrance, allowing authentic embodiment to unfold organically from within.

Matthew Golben
A weaver of worlds both body and soul, Matthew Golben moves through life as a healer, a dancer, and a guardian of sacred space. As a licensed massage therapist rooted in the alchemy of emotional processing, Matt guides others through the tender landscape of feeling—helping release stored trauma through the wisdom of touch. His own journey into the depths began in 2017, when he walked the moon course at Las Pirámides Del Ka on the shores of Lake Atitlán in Guatemala, where an intense breathwork series cracked him open and ignited a kundalini awakening that would shape everything that followed. An acrobat by nature, Matt knows in his bones that trust is built in the leap. As a space holder, he supports containers where the full spectrum of human experience is not only welcomed but celebrated. A sensualist at heart, Matt believes that loving presence is the greatest gift—that when we drop into our heart, we drop into life itself.
