Diving Deep: 50 Years of Ombuds Exploration

Welcome!
In 1973, at the dawn of North American ombuds work, three practitioners decided to get together at Asilomar, go scuba diving, and sort through what it meant to be in this field. While exploring the ocean, they also dove into their practices, questioned the essence of ombuds work, and learned from each other. Today, we follow in their footsteps and take on the same considerations.
Join us for this momentous 50th anniversary gathering as we celebrate and build upon the rich history of Cal Caucus and the Ombuds profession, delve into the depths of effective ombuds work, explore how ombuds contribute to healthy and diverse organizational ecosystems, and support each other both personally and professionally.
Registration Payment and Cancellation Policy
All payments must be received by October 2, 2023. Any registration not paid in full by that date will be canceled and someone from the waitlist will be offered the ticket.
Refunds:
Life and plans change. We know.
If you need to modify or cancel your registration, please contact the Conference Registrar, Amanda Dean, at hello@calcaucus.com.
Cancellations, received by email prior to October 2, 2023, will receive a full refund minus a $75 USD cancellation fee, if the room reserved by the participant can be filled by another participant from the waitlist. Unfortunately, cancellations requested after October 2, 2023 present significant logistical challenges and will be at the discretion of the Registrar.
Registration will be open until September 29 or until capacity is reached.
