Event description

Do you care about disability justice? Are you actively a part of the fall of the empire? Do you hate over consumption and want to amp up sexy clothes you already have?? Then join us at Collective Axis' first ever merch night/s! This event is raising funds for the expenses of our next event, Project C2C: A Halloween-Themed Teach-in, Fundraiser, and Liberation Celebration.

Entry fee ($3-5) covers cost of basic material. More up cycling materials and tools will be available for additional fee! More deets on that coming soon!

Entry fee Tier pricing is as follows:

$3 for Black folks

$4 for NonBlack POC

$5 for white folks

Bring some items for a night of DIY merch upcycling—shirts, booty shorts, pants, a decorative hankie—whatever needs a make over. We'll also have items for you to heat press and work with!

Stop by early for the opportunity to get Skunk Cabbage Book totes donated by the lovely owner. That can be customized! Our allies are welcome to join us and spend some COIN with our first ever Collective Axis merch night. See yall there!!

Skunk Cabbage Books Access Notes

"Our storefront has tiled floors with taped-down area rugs and our aisles meet ADA standards.

We do not have any stairs or raised thresholds in the space, but we do have an entry vestibule with two in-line doors to enter.

We unfortunately do not have powered door openers, but we do have a doorbell to request help from our staff.

We have a restroom available for workshop participants, but we regret that it is not fully accessible - there are no stairs to access the restroom but it is a narrow space. In addition to requiring masks, we also use HEPA filtered air purifiers to clean indoor air.

We are happy to provide folding chairs for events. The chairs do not have arms and have a weight capacity of 500 lbs."
