DIY Series - Learn Junk Journaling
Description
DIY Series - Learn Junk Journaling
For this instalment of our DIY Series, we’re putting 18-year-old Heidi in charge!
Heidi is a young creative with a serious love for junk journaling - taking everyday scraps, discarded bits and pieces, old paper and forgotten treasures and turning them into something completely unique.
In this hands-on workshop, Heidi will show you how to see the creative potential in the things we normally throw away. You’ll learn the basics of junk journaling, play with layering, textures, paper, ephemera and embellishments, and create your own journal pages to take home.
This is a relaxed, creative workshop where there are no rules and no need to be an experienced artist.
What you’ll need
A Journal (if you want): You may like to bring a journal you already use or buy yourself one you like - there is an option to include a journal in your ticket if you don't have one or want to find one for yourself.
Junk (if you have some you'd like to use): You may have some tickets or a wrist band from an event, a food wrapper from a special moment, or something you just thought was too cool to throw away - no worries if you don't, we will have plenty of fun stuff to use.

As always, if you don't want to participate in the activity, but want to come along for the vibes, bring your own project to work on, or just yap with the rest of us for something to do, there is a ticket option for you too! We'd love to have you there!
And, there will not be any food provided - please bring something to nibble on if you like, or you are welcome to pop down the street to get some lunch and bring it back when you like!
