    Event description

Gabion walls are a great way to create habitat for native wildlife and can be constructed using recycled and natural materials. In this hands-on workshop, you will help to create a gabion structure to support creatures at Perth City Farm and learn how you can create habitat for invertebrates, frogs and lizards at your place. This is part of our 'Nature in the City' project.

This is a workshop designed for adults, but children over the age of 12 are welcome to buy a ticket and join their parents.

This workshop will be delivered to comply with current government health advice, maintaining distance between participants and good hygiene.

Please wear comfortable clothing, hat, sun protection and bring a water bottle.

All this is set in the grounds of Perth City Farm, non-profit community environmental centre that provides space and opportunities to cultivate connection, and educates and enables all of us to live sustainably with nature. Revenue generated from workshops supports our Farm.

This session is supported by a grant from the Communities Environment Program from the Australia Government Department of Industry, Innovation and Science.
