DIY Wildlife Habitat: Nest Boxes Workshop

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Support native birds and bats to live in the heart of Perth by creating nest boxes to be installed at Perth City Farm. In this hands-on workshop you'll learn how to build the boxes so you can make some for your home, and about the creatures who should move in. This is part of City Farm's 'Nature in the City' project.

This is a workshop designed for adults, but children over the age of 12 are welcome to buy a ticket and join their parents.

This workshop will be delivered to comply with current government health advice, maintaining distance between participants and good hygiene.

Please wear comfortable clothing, hat, sun protection and bring a water bottle.

All this is set in the grounds of Perth City Farm, non-profit community environmental centre that provides space and opportunities to cultivate connection, and educates and enables all of us to live sustainably with nature. Revenue generated from workshops supports our Farm.

This session is supported by a grant from the Communities Environment Program from the Australia Government Department of Industry, Innovation and Science.
