DIY Worm Farming Buckets
Event description
Worm farming is an easy and rewarding activity for everyone—whether you live in an apartment or a house. These squirmy companions take up very little space, help recycle your food scraps, and produce nutrient-rich fertiliser for your garden. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to set up your own worm farm using recycled food safe containers and just a few basic tools. Join us to discover how simple and fun worm farming can be!
What you’ll need:
· 3 clean, empty food safe buckets (all the same size) (minimum 5L)
· A lid that fits the bucket
· Shredded newspaper or cardboard
· A small amount of food scraps to get started
All other materials and instructions will be provided. Come along and start turning your kitchen waste into garden gold!

This event is part of the Saturday Circle a monthly repair, share, regen, reuse and resilience building get-together at the Randwick Sustainability Hub, 27 Munda Street, Randwick.
Held on the second Saturday of the month, most events are 10:00am - 12:00pm.
