Goddess Rising: DJ Dojo Showcase

Honoring the Waters that flow through us: the gentle, the feminine, the nourishing, Sacred Waters brings you Goddess Rising: DJ Dojo Showcase. 

This femme-powerment event features 3 DJs that are graduating from the Goddess DJ Dojo, a course to awaken the waters of creativity within and find the tools to be a fountain of music and love for the benefit of a community of dancers. 

We will dance to the sacred, powerful and divine rhythms of Aria Tau, and hear her proteges, Danusu, Mother Void and Bubble Spree perform live for the first time. This event is an initiation, a rite of passage for the feminine by the feminine, and our opening ritual will be hosted by Ishani Ishaya.

Mother Void

Mother Void is a nomadic musician & creator, offering downtempo & dark sensual bass for intimate dance journeys. Faren Rajkumar AKA Mother Void is an emerging Goddess DJ learning from Aria Tau, entering the dance world with her violin, feminine power and strong Hindu devotional roots. You are invited into the Void's nurturing embrace to find your deepest, healing flow

Bubble Spree

Purring on the edge of a spaceship, Bubble Spree is an intergalactic dance cat bringing a celestial feel to the dance floor. Her disco-esque bounce might rocket you into orbit while her sensual grooves bring you back to your inner sway or melt you into a cuddle bubble. Whatever your vibe, Bubble Spree meets your divine self where you're at ! Being an adventurer at heart who discovers new universes through movement, she loves to bring that sense of exploration and wonderment to the dance floor. Her DJ dreams involve mixing meaningful soundscapes for ecstatic dance events, amplifying the joys of connecting through music and dance.

Danusu

Since her early years spent in the London underground scene, Danusu has been a passionate lover of dance music. Music and dance became a medicine for her to find creative self expression and liberation. Danusu’s takes dancers on a journey, cross-pollinating genres which include tribal beats, shamanic medicine songs, soothing mantras, deep house, and glitchy breaks.
She aspires to create soundscapes which awaken connection to the sacredness of all life through a deeper expression of their own embodied wisdom. Danusu believes in the power of music and dance as a force of healing that can bring people together in a way that transcends the limits of our societal structure.

Aria Tau

Part Dj, part live performer, Aria Tau bends genres with her unique sound. Aria has a background in classical vocals, and walked away from a promising technology career to create magical experiences for healing through music, dance and plant medicine. Her ethereal voice pared with unexpectedly bold bass lines evokes a trance-like state of wonder and reminds you of the powerful magic that lives within. Aria sings in 20+ languages, and channels mystical words and melodies in her sets. 

Ishani Ishaya

Ishani or "Ishstar" is a cosmic queen of dance, and a inspiring role model to women, encouraging them to shine their light, claim their ancient power and boldly go after their birthright. A fire dancer, prayerformer and ritual leader, Ishani brings ancient rites and rituals back to life in her mesmerizing performances. Ishani will be leading an initiation ritual for the three initiates: Danusu, Mother Void and Bubble Spree.
