SUNDAY 15 MARCH
Skin and take home your very own Djembe!
Engaging in the process of your own djembe is an incredible way to create a personal connection with your drum.
The rewarding labour of bringing your djembe to life is a journey that will be remembered for many years to come.
This is both a editative and challenging process that will develop a unique connection between you and your instrument.
We use Wooden Shells and Goat Skins for all of our djembes.
Workshop will take place from 10am - 3pm on Sunday 15th March at Rat Planet Studios (Gregory Terrace, Spring Hill).
Includes:
• Wooden Shell
• Goat Skin (prepared in advance with trimming and soaking)
• Coloured rope
• Guidance and assistance in the process of skinning your own drum
• Lunch (vegan and gluten free)
• Complimentary beverages
• (if time allows) a drumming circle to finish the day
• An unforgettable experience and deep connection to your instrument
Ticket sales close Sunday 1st March.
Unforunately due to the cost and organisation of materials and supplied, we are unable to offer refunds. If you become unable to attend on the date - ticket transfers to another person are welcome. Please contact us if you should need to arrange this.
