DLC Volunteer Info Session and Orientation

Why do you love living where you do? Is it the abundant wildlife, the open land, the views that will remain untouched for perpetuity? That's what we do at DLC: protect everything we value about our open spaces, habitat, and private lands across Douglas, Elbert, and Jefferson County. And we couldn't do any of it without the help of volunteers!

First we'll get you acquainted with our organization. Then, we'll go over everything you need to know about being a DLC volunteer, from the logistics to the available opportunities. If you're interested in volunteering with DLC in 2025, and did NOT attend the 2024 Info Session & Orientation, you will need to attend one of two sessions in January 2025. Click the "Register" button to sign up for your preferred date and time. You are welcome to attend in-person at the DLC office, or over Zoom. Please know, there is no obligation to volunteer with DLC just for attending this info session.
