DMP Workshops
Event description
Ready to shape the future of tourism in The Tweed?
The Tweed Tourism Company (TTC) is undertaking a review of the Tweed Destination Management Plan (DMP). The current plan launched to industry in 2019 can be viewed on our website under Industry Resources. The tourism landscape has changed significantly since 2019, as such, it is timely to undertake a DMP review and provide a relevant, updated blueprint for the Tweed's tourism sector moving forward.
A Destination Management Plan (DMP) aims to promote sustainable tourism development, enhance visitor experiences, and improve the quality of life for local residents. This comprehensive document will outline the strategies, policies, and actions needed to effectively manage the destination's future tourism development and growth.
Whilst TTC is the architect of a region's DMP, it is important to note that this is a document for all local tourism stakeholders to be invested in. As such, your input and opinions are both valued and sought after, and we would like to invite you to attend a DMP workshop as a part of the DMP review process.
