DNA by Dennis Kelly
Description
UNSW NUTS is proud to present DNA by Dennis Kelly. How far would you go in the face of murder? When a group of teenagers accidentally murder their friend, then panic about it, they hatch a plan to protect themselves and any hopes for their future. In its wake they find themselves in an ever-growing web of deception, guilt and lies, but as time and the consequences of their actions catch up with them they question, was it worth it?
DNA is a startlingly funny, dark and complex story that brings to life the real pressures of youth with a little bit of murder. With relevant themes such as friendship, loneliness and guilt, it re-examines how the pressures of society affect us and drive us in the choices we make.
Join us from 10th-14th November at Studio One, UNSW for a journey into an unknown, hostile land; the mind of teenagers.
