D&D Showdown and Social

Does your group have what it takes?

Come on down and join a tournament in the style of 1970s Gygaxian Dungeons and Dragons, where your group will be handed level 9 pregenerated characters and show us what they can do with them. You'll delve through one of the first dungeons compiled for D&D (updated to 2014 5e), scoring points for your successes - and losing points for your failures. When the time's up, the winning group will not only be awarded prizes - but you'll be the first names ever on D&D Freo's perpetual trophy of glory. 

Afterwards, there'll be food, drinks and party games - a chance for the groups to talk over their strategies, their victories, their defeats. And more than that, a chance for the people of D&D Freo to get to know each other outside of the gaming table. 

This event will run to the following timetable:

• 1pm, doors open
• 1.30pm, character sheets provided
• 2pm, BEGIN THE DELVE!
• 4pm, 15min bio break
• 6.15pm, DELVE ENDS
• 6.15pm onwards - dinner, drinks and party games. FROM THIS TIME, THE EVENT IS OPEN TO NON-TICKET HOLDERS TO JOIN. 
• 7pm - the winners announced.
