CHARITY GALA - DO GOOD & HAVE FUN


Event description

Come and uplift your spirits through social connections, enjoyment and dancing. 

This event has been born from an idea to come together and have some FUN and to get dressed up and to use the opportunity to also generate some money for some charities for collective good.    

An event to come with friends or meet new friends or both! Just COME! 

TICKET PRICE

Early bird -  $150 per head (plus Humanitix fee- this is a NFP) (up to 31 August)

Standard ticket- $175 per head (plus Humanitix fee- this is a NFP)  (from 1 September)

INCLUSIONS:

Your ticket includes:

- a 3 course meal 

- a welcome drink (and then you can buy your drinks on consumption (so you are not locked into a drinks' package))

- entertainment for the night - featuring Rouge Trio and Somerhill (a band playing some classic 80s and dance music).

TABLES

Tables are of 8. [Can be 10 if you have a group of 10 just buy a table of 8 and 2 extra tickets and email me that you want this as a table of 10]

So if you have 8 people you want to come with, buy a table and then at the check out please answer the question that provides the full names of your guests. If you don't yet know who will be filling the seats, please send an email to connect@aliciatemmerman.com with the names closer to the event.

You can also buy a single ticket and nominate some people you would like to sit with and we will do our best to accomodate this.

WHO IS THE EVENT OPEN TO?

Anyone and everyone!! If you are under 18, your welcome drink will be non-alcoholic. 

CHARITIES:

100% of proceeds will go equally to:

ORANGE SKY - They provide free access to laundry and shower services to the homeless community in metro, regional and remote areasThey provide Free Food (through food vans) serving much needed meals, water and provide necessary items to the homeless, families doing it tough & during national disaster relief operations across Victoria and nearby regions

BEYOND BLUE - Beyond Blue is here to help all people in Australia achieve their best possible mental health. They provide a 24/7 qualified support line.

RARE CANCERS - AUSTRALIA Rare Cancers Australia Ltd (RCA) is a charity whose purpose is to improve awareness, support and treatment of Australians with rare and less common (RLC) cancers.

The people who put up their hands to help organise this event all voted on many options suggested by this group and the wider community on FB where the idea for this event was shared and these charities received the most votes.

WHAT TO WEAR?
Dress up to the Nines. Outrgeous/Glamorous Formal. Fun and Celebration Attire.

WHAT TO BRING?

Bring cash on the night to be in the draw to win one of many many raffle prizes. 

You will be able to state any dietary requirements when you purchase your ticket.
