Good Planning, Great Outcomes for Housing in Port Stephens
Description
Why has this Forum been organised?
The Forum has been organised by Mambo-Wanda Wetlands Conservation Group so that the Port Stephens community can be fully informed about the consequences of the housing proposal put forward by Port Stephens Council. It has been organised to take the complexity out of the proposed development around the Tomaree Library and Community Centre, otherwise known as the Salamander Bay Place Plan.
We believe the public is unaware of council plans to build on the wetlands. Council will soon publish a “Concept DA” on their housing proposal and the public may have only 2 weeks to respond.
The community needs to know more about this threat to the Wetlands.
