Documentary Screening and Death Conversation

In the lead-up to Day of the Dead, come together to reflect on mortality, death and the ways we care for one another at the end of life.

Through film and conversation, we'll consider how death can be approached differently; more openly, intentionally and compassionately.

A Story of Endings is a documentary exploring changing deathcare practices and the work of four death doulas* in Victoria, Australia. A facilitated death conversation* will follow the film.

Everyone is welcome, with the understanding that the event explores mature themes around grief, death and dying.

Tea and coffee provided.

*death doulas are non medical professionals who provide holistic support for those navigating end-of-life
*death conversations are informal gatherings for people to talk about anything death and dying related
