Partnership Info:
The Daily Show Dogs: The Daily Show’s been a dog-friendly office for years, but in early 2020, the staff thought it’d be fun to pull back the curtain and invite their audience into the lives of the Daily Show Dogs through their very own social media accounts. From sitting in on meetings and lounging around the set, to inspecting the crafty tables and stopping by people's desks for their daily treats, the Daily Show Dogs are truly a part of the culture of The Daily Show.
And when they’re not sharing their pup-tacular lives at The Daily Show’s studio, the Daily Show Dogs accounts spotlight animal rescue organizations around the country to promote dogs available for adoption, support fundraising goals and bring awareness to animal issues.
The Daily Show Writers: Comedy Central’s hysterically funny late-night talk and news satire show has won over 28 Emmys since its inception. “The Daily Show is more culturally relevant than ever,” said Kent Alterman, President of Comedy Central. The Daily Show Writers Comedy Tour features the comics behind the jokes that make America laugh every weeknight on the network’s premiere late-night show. Whether making fun of their failed dating lives, living life as a cat owner, or our current politics, the Daily Show writers find comedy everywhere and bring it all to the stage!

Must Love Dogs and Comedy: We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to produce comedy shows that raise money for animal rescue, support diverse comedians, and help adoptable dogs find loving homes. To date, we've raised over $33,000 for rescue animals and been named "the happiest place in NYC" by Time Out NY!
Animal Rescue Info:
The Sato Project is dedicated to rescuing abused and abandoned dogs from Puerto Rico. There are currently an estimated 650,000 stray dogs roaming the island’s streets and beaches. With no access to food, fresh water, or veterinary care, many of these dogs are living daily lives of severe suffering. The municipal shelter system is drastically overwhelmed, with only five shelters across all 78 of the island’s municipalities. These shelters have a combined euthanasia rate of over 94%. For thousands of stray and abandoned dogs in the area in which we operate, we are their only hope.

FAQs
- Do I need to purchase separate tickets for each human in my party?
Yes! Please order separate tickets for each human in your party. Dogs do not need their own tickets (which is a sentence I never thought I would write in my life)
- I don't have a dog, can I still come to the show?
Yes! All humans ages 18+ are welcome to attend the show as long as they follow our 2 show rules: Must Love Dogs and Comedy.
- Can my dog come with me to the show?
All dogs must be dog- and people-friendly. Disruptive or dangerous dogs will be asked to leave. All dogs must also be fully vaccinated in accordance with NYC law and be on-leash for the duration of the event. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and understand that you are responsible for any injury and/or damage caused by your dog(s) and/or any dog(s) you bring to the event.
- Can my human child come with me to the show?
Unfortunately, dog-friendly does NOT mean kid-friendly. Shows are recommended for audience members ages 18+ due to the potential subject matter performed by the comedians.
- Is the comedy performed at the show only about dogs?
No, comedy at our shows is not solely about dogs. Although comedians almost always get heckled by the dogs during their sets!
- Are there drinks available at the show?
Yes! Boris & Horton offers alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for purchase, as well as food. Please support our amazing venue by purchasing at least 2 items (food/drinks/merch) during the event.
