$20 Dog Microchipping! Animal Aid x Monash Council
A Little Chip, A Safer Trip Home!
Animal Aid is partnering with Monash Council to host a low-cost microchipping event for cats and dogs.Â
A tiny microchip can make a big difference in helping your pet find their way home. If your cat or dog ever wanders a little too far, their microchip provides permanent identification that vets and shelters can scan to help reunite them with you.
For just $20, give your pet an extra layer of protection with microchipping by a qualified vet nurse - a small step today for greater peace of mind tomorrow.
This clinic is for dogs only. For cat microchipping, please book our cat-only clinic on 20 November (click here!)

Important notes:
Please comply with staff instructions, which may include directions such as:
waiting in line
ensuring puppies (16 weeks or less) are carried at all times with no floor contact at the event venue
maintaining a distance of 2 metres between animals at the event (exception if from same family/group)
following all safety and guidance instructions from our staff
Â
If your dog has previously demonstrated reactive or aggressive behaviour in a veterinary setting, please advise us beforehand by emailing admin@animalaid.org.au so we can proactively plan and minimise your pet's stress during the appointment. Any details of your pets previous behaviour history will greatly assist for individual tailored planning.
Please ensure you have appropriately fitting muzzles and safety equipment (including leads, collars) on hand in case required, and follow all veterinary instructions if any restraint is required.
Please note, if you're pet becomes too distressed with formal handling, and cannot be safely microchipped, we will not proceed with the implanting. Our nurse will be able to advise on how to best proceed.
Animal Aid can assist with information and appointments related to desexing - please speak with our vet nurse at your appointment.
Note: Desexing will be arranged via appointment by our Coldstream facility.Â
