Zonta Paradise Point and Spotlight Theatrical Company are thrilled to announce their collaboration for a special benefit night on Thursday, May 9th, featuring a performance of the captivating musical, Dogfight. It is a moving story about finding love in an unlikely place. The musical has a dynamic score by Benji Pasek and Justin Paul, acclaimed composers of the "The Greatest Showman", "Dear Evan Hansen" and "La La Land".
Set in 1963, amidst the backdrop of US Marines preparing to depart for Vietnam, the musical follows a group of soldiers as they engage in a callous game on their last night of freedom. However, amidst the harshness, poignant lessons emerge as one of the men discovers the inherent beauty in unexpected places. Dogfight was nominated for the esteemed Lucille Lortel Award for Best Musical, draws inspiration from the Warner Brothers film of the same name. With its romantic yet heart-wrenching narrative, Dogfight promises to take the audience on an unforgettable theatrical journey.
