Dogs for Climate Walk Canberra - Citizen COP 2026

Bring your dog and join Gregory and his dog Fred from Lyrebird Dreaming for a friendly Citizen COP Dog Walk for Climate in Canberra.

This relaxed community walk will bring people and their dogs together to show support for climate action, nature protection and a safer future for all species.

The walk will be family-friendly and dog-friendly. Dogs must be on lead and under control at all times. Participants are encouraged to bring water, waste bags, sun protection and weather-appropriate clothing. Lyrebird Dreaming will provide climate action dog scarves for participating dogs.

The proposed route will begin near on the National Art Gallery lawns beside Lake Burley Griffin, walk between the bridges, and include a group photo in front of Parliament House.
