Description

Doing Community-Engaged Migration Research: Rethinking Collaborations Beyond Academia is a one-day symposium hosted by the Migration and Mobility Research Network (MMRN), in collaboration with the Monash Migration and Mobilities Research Hub (MMRH).

The symposium brings together academics, community stakeholders and organisational leaders to discuss meaningful and impactful collaboration in migration research. Through interactive panel discussions, Q&A sessions and a facilitated workshop, the event will explore collaborative grant applications, managing expectations across academic and non-academic settings, ethical and empathetic data collection, and impactful research translation.

The symposium is intended for scholars, early career researchers and PhD students interested in designing and conducting community-engaged migration research.
