Doing Great (Considering) — Lineup show about keeping it together.

Three comedic styles unite for the Newcastle Comedy Festival in ‘Doing Great (Considering)’ — a blend of sharp stand-up, offbeat storytelling, and playful musical comedy about keeping it together through life’s quietly absurd, unhinged moments.

Award-nominated comedians and RAW Comedy competition finalists turn unique perspectives into laughter, music and mischief.

Scott Fowler: deadpan, observational, and delightfully kooky — his personal disasters and small victories become biting social commentary.

A co-host of the Presenting Problems podcast, Fowler’s wisecracks have earned him a Best Out-of-Towner nomination at the 2024 Newcastle Comedy Club Awards.

Huw Rogers: warm, inviting and tightly-packed humour drawn from lived experience with blindness — from awkward encounters to everyday ironies hiding in plain sight.

“Sharp, playful.” — Intouch Magazine

“A unique and refreshing perspective to comedy.” — NEWY 87.8FM

RAW Comedy State Finalist 2026, and Comedian Of The Year Nominee 2025 (The Comedy Writers Group)

Brandon Duff: charismatic musical comedy with a cheeky edge — original melodies that’ll leave you laughing and humming, long after the show.

“Tall, talented asshole.” — Dave Hughes

RAW Comedy National Finalist 2026, Duff has opened for Dave Hughes, Daryl Braithwaite, and tours internationally.

So expect an evening of wit and catharsis, because honestly we’re all doing great (considering).
