Dojo Rise are forging their own unique footprint in the music industry, with their uplifting South Coast sound; an eclectic fusion of modern reggae/dub, pop and indie soul.

From Aldinga, South Australia (Ngaltingga, Kaurna Yerta), Dojo Rise have been firing up dancefloors ever since their first show in 2021.

Influenced by modern reggae, dub, soul outfits such as Fat Freddy’s Drop, The Black Seeds, Stick Figure and L.A.B.

They released their first EP in 2020, and had their debut show in 2021 with drummer Anthony Sherwood. The trio have gone on to release 8 singles, a second EP ‘A Better Place’, withairplay on Triple J, Double J and ABC Radio.

They’ve had a number of sold-out hometown shows and festival appearances, including Woodford Folk Festival 2022/23, headlined Space Jams Festival Inman Valley, and sold out their debut tour show in Brisbane. The past year they’ve supported the likes of Michael Franti& Spearhead, Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Skunkhour, Tijuana Cartel and Bootleg Rascal.
