Australia’s greatest cabaret diva’s Dolly Diamond and Tash York team up to bring you their new show full of great music, stories and all the best attention seeking techniques in the business. ‘Attention Seekers’ hopes to validate the existence of others out there who suffer their same affliction, but not too much of course, as the focus will need to be on them.
The pair have long stormed the Australian cabaret scene, and more recently has seen them performing all over the UK and starring in shows at the Edinburgh Fringe. Diamond, resident performer at Oz House and York, starring as the MC for Briefs Factory show Sweatshop at Assembly Garden. Using their sensational singing voices and quick-witted humour, they have written a show with great tunes, hilarious true stories and inspired advice that is equal parts Ted Talk and delusion. In this no holds barred quest for success Diamond and York take you through the trials and tribulations of what it’s like to hold the centre of attention. Whilst offering sage advice to others suffering their same affliction. This uplifting and hilarious cabaret, will show why we all deserve a little attention (but they deserve it more).
