Event description

As part of the Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month, the CAMS program at Nambour Community Centre and ECCQ will be hosting an information session on Domestic and Family Violence for women from multicultural communities in the Sunshine Coast.

This will be a safe space for attendees to connect, ask questions and learn about Domestic and Family Violence services available in the area. Centacare and Kyabra Community Association will share the following key information:

  • What is Domestic Violence and what does it look like.
  • How to recognise Domestic Violence and how to respond.
  • What is Coercive Control.
  • What services and help are available for women, and more.

Make sure to register to secure your spot. A light lunch will be served at the end of the session.
