Domestic & Family Violence Vigil SA 2023
Event description
Join South Australia's domestic, family and sexual violence peak body Embolden, and Spirit of Woman at the annual domestic violence vigil, in honour of those who have lost their lives to gendered violence.
We will gather at Bonython park (Port Rd Entrance,opposite Red Delta Group).
This year we are celebrating diversity and inclusion through our theme 'Embracing Community: Diverse Voices.' You'll hear from lived experience advocates and sector representatives on the importance of diversity.
We look forward to seeing you at the Vigil and standing together in solidarity. There will be a range of community service stalls, food and music.
'The Vigil is a free, child friendly, inclusive, and accessible community event at the proposed site for the next Place of Courage artwork.
Please dress appropriately for an outdoor, all-weather event.
