Dom's Place Trivia Fundraiser

It has been 12 months now since we opened our doors at Dom’s Place in Hornsby - a drop-in centre for men, women and children experiencing homelessness and disconnection from community. It shares its name and values with our friend Dom, a delightful young man who was involved with CatholicCare until his passing in 2021.

Dom's Place operates as a ‘one-stop-shop,’ an inclusive space where people can feel safe and connected. Some people pop in to get a meal, wash their clothes and chat with a social worker to address housing needs. Others come and play a game of pool, use the computers and connect with employment pathways. Case management, counselling, groups and mental health supports are available, as well as referrals to other services as needed. Other local services also operate from Dom’s Place including legal, housing, cultural, financial and medical services.

With skyrocketing cost of living pressures, the need for our services in growing in demand daily.

We would love you to join us at our Trivia Fundraiser on Friday 2 June in Waitara! Let's celebrate the great outcomes Dom's Place has seen to date! Your support will keep our door open and light the path for those needing this essential service.

Please grab a friend, or secure a table if you wish, and support the vulnerable in our community. Our site is unfunded and costs $140,000 per annum to operate. We rely heavily on community grants and donations. 

James Breko will be our Trivia Host for the evening - he is absolutely awesome and we guarantee you will have a ball. 6.30pm arrival for a 7.00pm start. Nibblies will be provided.
