Don't Call Me Daddy
Event description
Don't Call Me Daddy is the debut stand-up comedy hour by stalwart of the Christchurch Comedy scene Matt Threadwell.
Matt is a high octane, fast talking comic who straddles the razor's edge between sharp, cutting wit and a childlike sense of whimsy and fun. Matt has been performing in and around Christchurch for years now and has become a "must-view" performer for any comedy fan in the heart of the south.
A loud and bombastic performer, you won't be able to keep your eyes off of the stage while Matt is performing and the cheeky glint in his eyes will have you leaning in and trying to guess the insanity that will next come out of his mouth.
In this show Matt riffs on mental health, drug use and we learn exactly WHY he doesn't want you to call him Daddy, in stark contrast to the men of his generation
