Don’t Cha Wish You(r) Yum Cha was hot, camp and sultry like this? 🥵 

The iconic Red Rattler Theatre will be home to a Queer Yum Cha festival for the senses. Inspired by Old Shanghai Cabaret, feast on delectable plant-based delicacies, live music, drag, dance and more!

Created and hosted by Dyan Tai, our Queer 🔥Asian 🔥 Excellent 🔥 line up includes:

Guest artists:

• Thursday: Flower Boy 卓颖贤, Angel Chimera, Dixing Mei
• Friday: Marcus Whale, LinhQu, Vic (Auslan interpreted^) 
• Saturday: AnSo, Oryx, Ivory Glaze

Tickets include 3 courses of handmade plant-based yum cha delicacies specially prepared by Anh.  

Sample menu (subject to change):

Course 1:

1. Mushroom and water chestnut shumai (vegan)
2. Steamed cheong fun (vegan, gf)
3. Pan fried turnip cake (vegan, gf)

Course 2:

1. Steamed chinese broccoli with crispy garlic oil (vegan, gf)
2. Fragrant vegetable fried rice (vegan, gf)

Course 3:

1. Mango crepes with fresh vegan cream 

* Doors open 6.30pm; shows from 7.00pm and will finish around 9.00pm.

Yum Cha is a social event recommended to be enjoyed as a community experience 🫖☕️ We encourage you to buy tickets in groups to ensure you’re seated with your besties. Some ticket holders would be required to share their table with other guests.

^Auslan interpretation is available on Friday. The Red Rattler is a wheelchair accessible venue and all-gender bathrooms are available.
