RICHARD SAVVY'S 50TH BIRTHDAY

A ROCKY HORROR BIRTHDAY EXTRAVAGANZA

🎂 At midnight… Richard turns 50! 🎂

"Don't dream it. Be it!"

Come up to the laboratory, slip into something outrageous and join me for a night of pleasure, decadence, glamour, debauchery and a little bit of madness as I celebrate the big 5-0 in true Rocky Horror Picture Show style!

For one unforgettable night, we're throwing out the rulebook and celebrating individuality, self-expression and the freedom to be exactly who we are.

Whether you're a sweet transvestite, a creature of the night, a Frank-N-Furter, a Magenta, a Columbia, a Riff Raff, a Rocky… or simply someone who loves a damn good time, this party is for you!

🫦 EXPECT A NIGHT OF…

🖤 Rocky Horror glamour, camp and outrageous costumes
🎶 Fabulous tunes and a dance floor ready to do the Time Warp
🔥 Live performances, special guests and birthday surprises
💋 Leather, fetish, fantasy and fabulousness
🎭 A special 10:00 PM show, featuring a very special opening act
🎂 A midnight birthday celebration as I officially turn 50!

And opening the show? My very own mum, who has just turned 80! ❤️

Because you're never too old to take the stage, break the rules and show the world how it's done!

❤️ THIS BIRTHDAY IS ABOUT MORE THAN JUST ME

For my 50th birthday, I've decided to do something a little different.

Rather than receiving birthday presents, I'd love your help raising money for Sydney's Gender Centre, an organisation supporting transgender and gender-diverse people in our community.

Throughout my life, I've been fortunate to know many transgender friends. Sadly, I've also lost some of those friends over the past few years, and this fundraiser is a small way for me to give back to a community that has been part of my life and to support the people who need that care and connection today.

The spirit of The Rocky Horror Picture Show has always meant something special to me. I discovered the movie when I was around eight years old, and I genuinely believe it inspired me to embrace who I am and live authentically.

As I enter my 50th year, it feels fitting to celebrate that message by supporting an organisation doing important work for the transgender and gender-diverse community.

🎁 MY BIRTHDAY WISH IS YOUR DONATION.

Instead of buying me a birthday present, please consider donating directly to the Gender Centre through the dedicated fundraising link I'll share as soon as it's available.

Every dollar raised from the event's profits will be donated to the Sydney Gender Centre. The direct donation link will also allow everyone to contribute transparently, knowing their donation goes straight to the organisation.

Let's turn a night of celebration into something that makes a genuine difference.

🎭 WANT TO BE PART OF THE SHOW?

I'm inviting my talented friends who would love to contribute a performance to get involved!

If you'd like to perform and help make the night even more spectacular, please email dicksavvy@gmail.com to express your interest.

Let's make it a night to remember!

🫦 DON'T DREAM IT. BE IT! 🫦

"It's astounding. Time is fleeting. Madness takes its toll."

So don't waste another minute sitting around wondering what might have been.

Come dressed as your favourite character, bring your wildest fantasy, embrace your inner creature of the night and celebrate life, love, individuality and community with me.

Let's make my 50th birthday a little bit fabulous, a little bit outrageous and a whole lot meaningful.

Because on this night, we're not just celebrating another birthday.

WE'RE CELEBRATING BEING OURSELVES.
