Don't Mess with Improv featuring Mic Droppings & New News News Crew
Event description
Grab your best cheap bourbon whiskey and put on your best pearl-snap shirt and head to Stomping Ground for Texas-sized laughs at Don’t Mess with Improv. The November 16 show features Mic Droppings and New News News Crew!
Mic Droppings gives an audience member the chance to spill tea about what's happening in their life. Once the audience member drops the mic, the Mic Droppings improv team picks it up and creates a series of fast-paced, improvised scenes inspired by their stories. Mic Droppings features Justin Wayne, Krystle Sevener, Melanie Robinson, Lynsey Hale, Alexander Joshi, Nan Kirkpatrick, Abigail Nevins, and Andrew Missel.
The New News News Crew, here to bring the news to you! The News Crew will perform an entirely improvised newscast based on audience suggestions. Their expert team of reporters will cover the most important topics affecting their viewers, such as the ruffians kicking over sandcastles at the beach, the protest in front of the Chili’s on Main Street, and the latest on Cindy getting back together with her ex David. They are committed to providing the professionalism and journalistic integrity (and hopefully laughter) that every citizen wants. The New News News Crew features Ian Jungmann, Iannë Warshawsky, Jaydon Graeme, Joel Jenkins, Josh Reus, Melanie Robinson, Milo Michelle Wilder, Nan Kirkpatrick, and Stephanie Bell.
