Refund policy Refunds and Cancellation Policy
General
- All ticket sales are final. Unless required by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, tickets are non-refundable for change of mind, inability to attend, personal circumstances, or any reason other than those explicitly stated in this policy.
Cancellation or Postponement by Organiser
All sales are final. 10% of every ticket is non-refundable to cover deposits and essential costs. If the event is cancelled, 90% of the ticket face value will be refunded (booking fees excluded).
If the event is cancelled by the organiser (and not rescheduled), all ticket holders are entitled to a 90% refund of the face value of the ticket (excluding booking fees and service charges).
If the event is postponed to a different date, tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, you may request a refund within a specified period (14 days after the postponement announcement).
In the event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond the organiser’s control (Force Majeure), organisers may retain 90% of the ticket price (e.g. a cancellation fee) to cover non-refundable costs incurred prior to cancellation (e.g. permits, site hire, insurances).
Changes to Event Details
The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the venue, lineup, times, or amenities. These changes do not constitute grounds for a full refund unless they are deemed a material change. What constitutes a “material change” will be defined (for example: drastic change in headline act, venue too small to accommodate, major schedule shifts). If the change is material, you may be eligible for a partial refund (face value less any non-recoverable fees) upon request within a certain period after the change is announced.
Refund Process
All refund requests must be submitted in writing (email or via the ticketing platform) with your ticket/order number, name, and reason for refund.
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
Please allow [e.g. 10-30 business days] for processing once refund eligibility is confirmed.
Non-Refundable Fees
Booking fees, service charges, delivery or postage fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
Any fees charged by third parties (e.g. ticketing platform, payment processor) are not always refundable, depending on those parties’ terms.
Special Circumstances
If laws/regulations impose restrictions (such as government directives, pandemics, venue closures), and those prevent the event from going ahead as scheduled, refunds or partial refunds may be offered in accordance with the law.
The organiser may require evidence for some refund claims (e.g. proof of illness, government mandates etc.) in special cases.
Resale / Transfer
Tickets may be transferred or resold only via authorised resale platforms (if allowed). Resale outside authorised channels may lead to ticket cancellation without refund.
Name changes may be permitted under certain conditions as specified by the organiser.
Limitation of Liability
The organiser is not liable for incidental expenses incurred by ticket holders (such as travel, accommodation) should any change, postponement, or cancellation occur in accordance with this policy.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
