Double Workshop - Incense making & Half Moon Incense burner

Incense Alchemy is a two hour incense making experience with Kristen Budd of Calma Places. Then, enjoy 3.5 hours making your own magical smoker while learning hand building and sculpting techniques.

Incense Alchemy

Guests work with pure woods, resins, herbs and florals, no synthetics and no fillers, learning how a scent is built in layers, from the grounding base notes through the resinous heart to the lighter florals.

We begin by choosing an intention, clarity, calm, vitality, grounding, and let the body lead the selection rather than the mind. From there you blend, bind and hand roll your own incense formula to take home.

The blend is made to live in the burner you create in Manu's session, so the two pieces finish as one, a vessel and the incense it was made to hold. No experience needed.

All materials and tools are provided. Attendees bring nothing but themselves.

Make your own magical smoker while learning hand building and sculpting techniques in this guided 3.5 hour workshop

All materials will be provided, you only need to bring yourself, a friend, some creative juices and some nibbles or drinks to enjoy while you work!

Firing and glazing are included in the price (with the choice of 3 different colours to choose from for your finished piece).

The option to have your piece shipped to you once it's finished (approx 3-6 weeks) is also available for a small additional price if you are unable to pick it up from Marrickville.
