Douce Ambiance

The popular ensemble Douce Ambiance, literally "Sweet Sounds," weaves their music together with stunning performances by circus artists and contemporary dancers to bring you a rich, multi-layered experience.  

Cathy Irons (violin) together with outstanding Banks Peninsula musicians Dan Robertson (keyboard), Dougal Canard (guitar, double bass) and Douglas Brush (percussion) showcase their brilliant versatility and creativity with an evocative array of musical styles and genres.

Set against the live backdrop of an ever-shifting global musical landscape, the performance will take shape through live improvisations and imaginative choreography between the performers, directed by choreographer Fleur de Thier.  

Featuring the incredible artistry of silk aerialist Valentina Piasente, vibrant LED-poi of Carla Lindsay and captivating movement by an ensemble of dancers.
