Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale premiere night at the movies!

Let’s go to the movies together for the Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale premiere!

This is the final chapter of the beloved Crawley family story, and we’re making a mums night of it at Five Star Cinemas New Farm. Tickets are a special $14 for Social Mums Club members (normally $19).

Date: Thursday 11 September
Time: Arrive between 6:45–7:00pm, ready for the 7:30pm session. We can purchase drinks and snacks before the movie.
Where: Five Star Cinemas New Farm (701 Brunswick Street)
Tickets: $14 reduced price for SMC members (usually $19)

This is a perfect night to come along with a friend, or come on your own and join me in our friendly “Mums’ Row” so you’ll be sitting with other local mums.

We’ll meet in the foyer from 6:45pm, grab our drinks and popcorn, and then settle in for the Grande Finale on the big screen.

I can’t wait to see you there. Let’s give Downton Abbey the farewell it deserves!

Here's what we do to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible at Social Mums Club Events…

• We tend to keep our events small - so you don't have to walk into a big group

• We have really clear signage, and the host wears a bright pink t-shirt so you can easily spot us - you don't have to worry that you might be in the wrong place or with the wrong group

• Our events are never cliquey - the ladies at the event are usually meeting for the very first time, so you will not be the only person who doesn't know anyone

• You can come early - we know the hardest part about turning up to an event is walking in. We invite anyone who is anxious to reach out to the host and turn up 15 minutes early so you are the first one there. You can sit next to the host too.

• We ensure you feel included - another fear is that nobody will talk to you or you'll feel awkward or different. Our hosts are experts at making every attendee feel welcome and included. You will feel at ease with us.
