Downtown Pizza Tour - Tulsa

What happens when a native New Yorker pizza snob partners with a midwestern culinary mastermind to create a pizza tour in Downtown Tulsa? If this one baffled you, don’t feel too bad… it was kind of written like a joke but, this tour is anything but a joke! We take our pizza seriously so that’s why we’re taking you to the BEST downtown has to offer. Stretchy waist bands and walking shoes are encouraged for this one because we are going for the carb overload, mother of a pizza tour!

We are going to start you out with the only NY style pizza that Nikki approves of here in town, Empire Slice House for that classic NY style slice. Then we are heading to the motor city as we dig into some delicious Detroit style pizza at Elgin Park. Hopefully you’ve loosened that belt and made some room for one of Tulsa’s newest hot spots, Forno Santo for their authentic wood fired pizza. Oh and if you thought one wood fired pizza was enough, we would be doing you a disservice if we didn’t take you to one of Tulsa’s best wood fired pizzarias, Bohemian for a slice that is sure to get all of your taste buds dancing!

The tour covers less than one mile across 4 stops, primarily along sidewalks and generally flat terrain. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. An umbrella may be needed, weather permitting.
