Dr Melissa Bochner "Books in My Life" A Tuesday Talk

Melissa studied medicine at Adelaide University, and trained in General Surgery in NSW. She subsequently underwent subspecialist training in breast and endocrine surgery in Adelaide and Edinburgh and is the current Head of Unit of the Breast and Endocrine Surgical Unit at the Royal Adelaide and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals. She has a research Masters of Surgery degree from the University of Sydney, and a current leadership role with the peak body for Breast Surgeons, Breast SurgANZ. Her professional interests include teaching, research and indicators of quality in breast cancer care. Outside of work, she has an interest in music and is a volunteer board member of Adelaide Baroque.
