Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School presents ‘Flora’, a night of life drawing and botanical beauty.

We’re bloomin’ excited to have the absolutely radishing Amy Leigh Broadstock as our starring model. She’ll pose, we’ll draw, and over the night various greenery will sprout up and adorn her. Jack Swallows will be our on-stage gardener, giving life to fabulous foliage.

So what in carnation is Dr. Sketchy’s? It’s a night of life drawing like no other… drinking and drawing with an overgrowth of absurdity. The Christchurch branch of Dr. Sketchy’s is hosted by some crazy birches; Rosé Reckless, Tawdry Trainhedge and Mythical Haze. Expect a light-hearted night of drawing for all abilities. Don’t be shy, you’ll be among fronds.

This event is held in the lush green surrounds of ‘understorey’, within the Gym at The Arts Centre. This space is the latest project from The Green Lab, a gathering place for community, events, co-working, and collaboration.

What a re-leaf that we can go ahead with Dr. Sketchy’s at Level 2. Some things to note:

Tickets will be limited to allow for spaced seating.
Please bring your own drawing materials and pads for this session
Scan in upon arrival and wait to be seated.
Wear a mask when you arrive, and when you move around the venue
Table service will be available to order refreshments. Punky Brewster will be running the bar for this event.
If you are attending in a group, please buy tickets in one transaction so that we can seat you together.
