The Draft Plan of Management for Tahmoor Park is now on Public Exhibition.
Tahmoor Park is an important community open space, used for educational, environmental, and recreational purposes.
Council facilitates native planting in partnership with WIRES and local wildlife carers, holding community working bees to plant and weed the site. Currently, Council also undertakes maintenance on the site, although access is single-lane and weather dependent.
Council has developed a draft Plan of Management for the park, which
Proposes the dedication of a small strip of community land as a public road to provide a safe all-weather stabilised accessway
More broadly confirms Tahmoor Park is to remain Community land for public use, categorising it as 'Park' land.
We are inviting feedback about the draft Plan of Management for Tahmoor Park, and whether you agree or not with it being categorised as 'Park' land.
