The Insurance Council of Australia’s Annual Conference will be held on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 November 2026 in Sydney.

Bringing together industry leaders, regulators and commentators from the insurance industry, the ICA’s conference will take a deep dive into the key opportunities and challenges facing our sector.

Event format

Building on the successful format of recent years, this year’s conference will run across one and a half days.

Day 1 will follow our established structure, with plenary sessions in the morning for all attendees, followed by breakout sessions in the afternoon.

This structure allows participants to choose the afternoon sessions most relevant to them, with breakout session selections made at the time of ticket purchase.

Day 2 will consist of plenary sessions in the Grand Ballroom, including extended Q&A.

As capacity in breakout sessions is limited, early registration is recommended so participants can secure their preferred sessions.

Single tickets remain available, with table tickets also introduced this year to support easier purchasing for members. Where tables are purchased by members, the member discount will still apply.

Event details

Day 1: Thursday, 5 November — Registration opens at 8:30am. Sessions commence at 9:00am and conclude at 4:00pm, followed by networking drinks from 4:00pm–6pm.
Day 2: Friday, 6 November — Registration opens at 8:30am. Sessions commence at 9:00am and the day will conclude at 1:30pm after a formal close and lunch.
