Dungeons and Dragons Term Course (Term Four 2023)
Event description
Dungeons and Dragons provides an opportunity for players to develop social-emotional skills, build confidence, try new things in a pressure free environment, and learn to express themselves. Developed by Dr Kate Burton and George Burton, this term long course involves fun-filled hours of storytelling, while also weaving in skill building in the areas of executive function and social and emotional skills that participants can utilise in their everyday lives.
WHEN: Weekly on Monday or Thursday evenings*
- Monday 4:30PM-6:30PM: Ages 8-11 (commencing Monday October 9th 2023)
- Monday 6:30PM-8:30PM: Ages 14-16 (commencing Monday October 9th 2023)
- Thursday 4:30PM-6:30PM: Ages 9-11 (commencing Thursday October 12th 2023)
- Thursday 6:30PM-8:30PM: Ages 11-13 (commencing Thursday October 12th 2023)
This course lasts for Term 4, concluding on the final week of term (Monday December 11th & Thursday December 14th, 2023).
*Excluding the Monday the 13th and Thursday the 16th of November.
