Theme: Strengthen self-care for the holiday season
Strengthen your inner resources to care for yourself over the holiday season, and meet others going through similar experiences through this online national workshop, using a gentle powerful tool called Interactive Drawing Therapy.

FertilityNZ exists to support New Zealanders experiencing fertility problems, whether facing challenges becoming or staying pregnant. This bespoke workshop shares drawing for wellness, to tap into your inner guidance for support, within a safe space where others may be experiencing similar journeys.

Included in your workshop
You will be guided by Lara Phillips, a trained creative facilitator in Interactive Drawing Therapy, through drawing prompts (similar to a guided meditation or journaling) to draw out where you are at and draw out your own inner guidance. No art skills are needed, more simple mark making.

This gentle yet powerful tool uses drawing and writing as a way to access your subconscious and to listen to your heart rather than your head for guidance. A tool often used in therapy, it is made accessible for self-care and community wellness through these workshops.

What you will need
As this is an online workshop, you will need a computer in a comfortable, quiet setting. A hard surface to draw on (like a desk or a board), three to five pages of A3 paper (you can also tape two A4 printing papers together), and any colouring tools of your choice. Crayons are great as they are more child-like so you don't worry about how it looks. Coloured pastels or pencils are also good, or any coloured markers. The key is a range of colours.
