Every Tuesday, join Lara for a Draw It Out group workshop. Learn how to use a tool called Interactive Drawing Therapy for regular general wellness, and connect with others. These alternate fortnightly between in studio and online so please check which you have booked for. (Go to www.drawitout.co.nz to find online alternatives).

In studio

This group session is in studio where you will be guided through wellness drawings, similar to if you went to a yoga or meditation class where you are given prompts to follow.

There are no art skills needed, more simple mark making.

Who is this for

These sessions are for anyone wanting a wellbeing tool that is fun, light, yet incredibly insightful. If you have wondered how to listen to our own inner voice, this tool helps you do that.

Theme

Each week has a different theme, from self-care to inspiration. Every theme is relevant to everyone, and you are able to come weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or one-off.

What is the tool

The tool is called Interactive Drawing Therapy, although the intention of these sessions is not therapy rather self-care and self-reflection. You will be guided by Lara Phillips to draw out where you are at and draw out your own inner guidance.

The mission

The goal of these Tuesday 5pm-6pm regular group sessions is to make this amazing tool more accessible, much like you might choose to go to a yoga or meditation class.

About Lara Phillips
Lara Phillips is a creative facilitator trained in Interactive Drawing Therapy. With a 20 year career in creative copywriting in design and communication, she shares drawing and writing as a way of wellness and self-care, to promote preventative and proactive mental health measures through creativity.
