Draw Your (S)words -Featuring Matcho Makata and Dear Luna

Hello lovely people!
It may be getting cold again, but that wont keep DYS away!
We will be getting snug at our faves abode- Summertown Studio
We are beyond excited to have you join the Draw Your (S)words fam if this is your first time, if not, welcome back!

Draw Your (S)words is an open mic night for all to connect, share stories and be vulnerable in a safe space. We host spoken word events in the community and provide a safe and inclusive event for all folks to showcase local talent, and provide platforms perform on the open mic and share their stories. Fancy sharing your poetry with us? We welcome you to brave it and sign-up to the open mic, tix to reserve your place on the mic, but be quick as spots are limited.. Or simply come along and watch poets share their words. 
This event is for poets of all levels.

Where: Summertown Studio- 13 Paringa ave, Kaurna Land 

This is a wheelchair accessible venue, and all ages event.

Doors open at 6pm

Don't leave it last minute, open mic spots are limited, we will reserve 2 on the door, for first in best dressed, but secure your tix now.

$15 GA entry, $10 Concession, free for First Nations Folks. There is also the option to pay what you feel or purchase a pay it forward ticket, to shout someone a spot as we know times are tough and we would never turn anyone away.

DYS would like to acknowledge that our events take place on the stolen Kaurna Yarta. We acknowledge the Kaurna People and pay our respects to Elders past, and present and acknowledge sovereignty was never ceded.
Entry fees go towards our feature artists fairly and paying the rent each month.
