Join 2023 Senior Australian of the Year Tom Calma AO and Ngana Barangarai (Black Wallaby) project leader Aunty Barbara Nicholson for the launch of Volume 11 of Dreaming Inside: Voices from Junee Correctional Centre.

Dreaming Inside is in its eleventh year of producing anthologies of writing from First Nations inmates at Junee Correctional Centre, overseen by Aunty Barbara Nicholson with the aim to assist inmates in improving their literacy skills, and results in higher self-esteem, greater cultural awareness and an increased ability to understand their own feelings.

Special guest, Tom Calma AO. Tom is a former Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioner and prior to that the Race Discrimination Commissioner. He is currently Chancellor of Canberra University, co-chair on the Senior Advisory Group of the Indigenous Voice to Government and co-chair of Reconciliation Australia.
