Event description

One Way or Another – Blondie Comes Alive at The Bornemann!

For the very first time at The Bornemann, Dreaming: The Blondie Experience explodes onto the stage with a full-scale production that captures Blondie’s energy, style, and fearless spirit. With stunning visuals, powerhouse musicianship, and all the hits you love, this isn’t just a tribute—it’s the ultimate Blondie celebration.

Adding to the excitement, Alan Ho (San Diego, CA), frontman of the high-energy Ramones tribute band Hey! Ho! Let’s Go!, joins the show as Joey Ramone. Alan and lead vocalist Cara Nova from Detroit, MI (as Debbie Harry) will perform duets originally sung and recorded by Debbie Harry and Joey Ramone, creating a one-of-a-kind night where Blondie and the Ramones collide.

Meet the band:

  • Cara Nova (Lead Vocals as Debbie Harry) – A NYC native during Blondie’s rise, Cara channels Debbie Harry’s presence, raw talent, and vocal power with striking authenticity.

  • Alan Ho (Guest Vocals as Joey Ramone) – A dynamic tribute artist and Ramones frontman, Alan brings the punk legend’s voice and spirit to life in special duets with Cara.

  • Mike Cates (Drums as Clem Burke) – Based in Carlsbad, Mike drives the heartbeat of the show, paying homage to Blondie’s legendary drummer.

  • Dominic Ancona (Guitar/Vocals) – From Las Vegas, Dominic nails the riffs and sounds of Blondie’s iconic guitarists with precision and flair.

  • Bob Ternansky (Bass/Vocals) – Hailing from Del Mar, Bob delivers the punch and groove of Blondie’s bass legacy.

  • Ethan Brown (Keyboards/Vocals) – From Ramona, Ethan recreates Blondie’s unmistakable keyboard textures, fueling the band’s signature sound.

From timeless hits like “Heart of Glass” and “One Way or Another” to the electric Blondie–Ramones duets, this will be an unforgettable night of music, nostalgia, and punk-rock energy.

Dreaming: The Blondie Experience debuts at The Bornemann on Friday, November 1 – secure your spot for a night of unforgettable music and nostalgia!
