Floral Resin Coasters

Join us at the Cab Canvas Studio in Myaree for a blissful afternoon learning a new hobby and creating a stunning set of floral coasters. Throughout the workshop we will teach you how to use a casting resin for the first time and go through the steps to re-create these beautiful resin coasters using dried florals—the perfect addition to your coffee table! Grab a pal and a beverage and book yourselves in for a fun afternoon outside the comfort zone.

Please note, when resin is mixed it creates a chemical reaction that releases toxins. These can be harmful for pregnant woman or those with respiratory issues. Not suitable for under 18s.

What you need to know:

• Where: The Cab Canvas Studio (2/17 Hulme Court, Myaree)

• When: Sunday the 22nd of October, 2023
  

• Time: Arrive at 1.45pm for a 2.00pm start

• Duration: Class will run for approximately 1.5—2 hours

Our studio in Myaree is BYO drinks, so please don't forget to bring a beverage to paint with. We encourage you to pair your drink with one of our delicious grazing boxes you can select as an 'add-on' when booking to help you get in the creative zone.

Pickup:

You will need to leave the moulds to cure overnight and collect your artworks the following week 9:00am - 4:30pm, Monday, Wednesday & Friday. Please get in touch if you need to make pick up outside of these times. 

What to bring:

We recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting resin on... just in case!

Come on your own or bring a friend. Our artist will walk you through the process step-by-step whilst offering suggestions on how to individualise your artwork. Anyone and everyone are welcome, no prior art experience is required.
