Drinks with the Premier & Minister - Launceston

It is a big day for the Information, Communication & Technology Industry in Launceston on Monday August 28.

The Tasmanian Government ICT Industry Summit (NORTH) kicks off at 3.30pm followed by the annual 'Drinks with the Premier & Minister' networking event presented by TasICT and the Launceston Chamber of Commerce.

Both events are at the Tramsheds Function Centre, which is conveniently located at Inveresk with ample parking adjacent to the venue.

Considering the number of issues the Tasmanian Government has on its plate, it's gratifying to know the two key leaders are prepared to take time out to meet with the members and guests of two Peak Industry Bodies. Premier Jeremy Rockliff and Minister for Science & Technology Madeleine Ogilvie acknowledge the importance of the ICT & business communities, and give people in small, medium and large businesses the chance for some one on one engagement.

Following welcoming words from TasICT and the Launceston Chamber of Commerce, the Premier will deliver an address followed by Madeleine Ogilvie.
